Are you drinking enough?

Muscle is made up of approximately 75% water. When dehydration occurs it results in a loss of athletic performance. Ensuring your body is well hydrated is just as important as feeding it!!

Using the formula of body weight in kgs divided by 30 gives us a good estimation of how much we should be drinking. Don’t forget to include an extra 500ml to 1 litre for your exercise.🏋🏻‍♀

✅Tips to increase your water intake: 1. Have a glass of water with every meal 2. Take a water bottle wherever you go 3. Eat your fruit and vegetables (Yes they do contain water and it does count towards your daily intake) 4. Flavour your water by adding, mint, lemon or other fruits to it.
